Caption Pro v 2.3.101 has been released. This release fixes a bug causing the Aspect Ratio selection controls to be hidden. Coming soon is a major upgrade adding capability to extract, straighten and enhance photos contained in a scanned or photographed image of multiple paper photos and then caption them.

Caption Pro v 2.3.98 is now available for download from here. Release Notes are available here. This version has the following improvements:

• Unicode language captions now correctly displayed in EXIF Only mode
• Image file thumbnail in Explorer updated if file overwritten
• Windows Title & Subject (Caption and Sub-Caption text) length limited to 1023 chars
• Option to read caption data from Windows Title metadata added

Caption Pro v 2.3.96 is now available for download from here. This version include an option to create captions from speech. Internet access is required for speech input. It only runs on 64-bit Windows systems and the speech input does not work on Win 7.

Caption Pro v 2.2.95 is available for download from here. This release fixes bugs preventing copying of captions to Windows Title and Subject fields in EXIF Only file metadata mode. Release notes here.

Caption Pro version 2.2.94 is now available for download. This version allows smaller sub-captions and the EXIF only File Metadata option writes Caption and Sub-Caption to Windows Title and Subject fields, allowing retrieval using search in File Explorer with syntax Title:SearchString or Subject:Searchstring.

Caption Pro 2.2.91 is now available. This release fixes a problem where the applied image caption was slightly smaller than the region selected for the caption and changes the licensing to apply a 2 CPU per license limit.

This release of Caption Pro extends captioning capabilities to include videos as well as images, and gives you the capability to present a sequence of images and videos on a Windows desktop in the same way that you do on a mobile phone, and with captions below each image and video to keep all of your precious pixels intact

Caption Pro Web has had a major makeover after reviewing how users have been interacting with it. The interface now support loading by dragging files or pasting and is now a lot simpler (I hope). Captioned images can be downloaded by right-clicking on the image as well as using the Download button. And it’s free to use – no registration needed.
